This group visits a wide variety of exhibitions, historic houses, galleries and gardens, covering a wide spectrum of artistic taste and styles. Whilst we might not all be artistic ourselves we do appreciate fine art and beauty in all its many forms and it is good to be able to share this with like-minded friends.
The group currently has over seventy members but NO waiting list. You dip in and out depending on what visit you fancy.
We usually meet on the second Wednesday of the month and normally plan a new programme every six months visiting places like the Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts, the Fitzwilliam Museum, Houghton Hall, various London galleries etc.
Travelling by car, train or bus we normally manage to have lunch out so broadening our horizons, making new friends and learning at the same time.
We welcome suggestions and ideas for future visits and we endeavour to keep you updated with what is happening on the Arts scene both locally and nationally.
